About The Position

The Amivero Team is seeking a Business Process Analyst I to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with management consulting services for the Investment Analysis Office (IAO). This role focuses on business process transformation, improvement, reengineering, modernization, and enhancement of operational efficiency, effectiveness, and mission outcomes. The analyst will assess complex business processes, facilitate requirements gathering, conduct various analyses (process modeling, workflow, risk, cost), and develop data-driven recommendations. The position also involves supporting enterprise-wide process integration, performance measurement, organizational change management, and implementation planning, culminating in executive briefings and operational documentation. This role requires in-person support to the client in Washington, DC.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • High Risk Public Trust (Tier 4) Clearance
  • US Citizenship required
  • Local to Washington, DC metro area

Responsibilities

  • Lead or be a member of a team of analysts that apply process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles, approaches, and methodologies that lead to increased efficiency or effectiveness in financial and operations management.
  • Assess process performance in complex environments, involving linkages between financial, staffing, and other support processes, and operational processes and outcomes.
  • Direct requirement collection and refinement efforts, to include interviews, surveys, working sessions and focus group studies.
  • Provide support for the design and implementation of new or enhancements to business processes.
  • Support coordination between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Facilitate meetings to assist management in the development of clear statements of quantifiable goals, objectives, requirements, and metrics.
  • Ensure proposed process improvements align to strategic objectives, and initiatives are compliant with appropriate policies, rules and regulations.
  • Develop realistic and practical implementation plans.
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations; conduct work simplification and measurement studies; and prepare operations, training, and procedural manuals to assist management in implementing ways to operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and interpret cost analysis, budget plans, and develop and present briefings to senior management.
