Business / Process Analyst — AI Reliability Engineering

General Dynamics Mission Systems, IncPittsfield, MA
$106,477 - $115,212Hybrid

About The Position

This role focuses on analyzing and redesigning business processes, particularly those involving AI capabilities, to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Business/Process Analyst will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and an engineering team to map current processes, design future states leveraging AI, conduct gap analyses, and define user workflows. The position emphasizes understanding the 'real' process, not just the documented one, and ensuring that new systems meet business needs through clear acceptance criteria. Unlike traditional roles, this analyst will work directly alongside engineers, influencing the 'what' of system development for AI-native replacements, not incremental improvements. Direct access to end-users is a key aspect of this role.
