About The Position

The Business Planning Manager is responsible for facilitating the business planning process across the business unit and driving process alignment to the Business Unit strategic priorities. The position will be accountable for the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, which includes demand review, supply review, executive review, along with any other adjacent process steps (e.g., financial reconciliation). The Business Planning Manager will ensure consistent use of data & processes across the business unit and work to continuously improve the accuracy and quality of inputs and outputs with each IBP cycle. The S&P Lead will also be responsible for working with functional and overall business leaders across all products and markets to drive change management and accountability toward the best possible planning outcomes for the business unit. In parallel, the Business Planning Manager will own the improvement agenda for Leviton’s Responsive Manufacturing Process (RMP) and manage projects associated with the roll out of Wave 1, 2 and beyond. This cross-functional role will be responsible for engaging and influencing stakeholders across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and business unit leadership to deliver on the RMP vision.

Requirements

  • Four years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in business planning or supply chain management role.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and Smartsheet, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management to adjust long‑term forecast volumes to optimize manufacturing and operations capacity.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM) process.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations and planning to identify production bottlenecks and recommend actions for both planned and unplanned supply-chain changes.
  • Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure plants meet customer demand within promised lead times.
  • Plan and support the RRM process with stakeholders across the Commercial & Industrial business unit, supply chain, and factory contacts.
  • Lead two monthly presentations to executive and cross‑functional teams on demand planning activities.
  • Transform sales pipeline data and field intelligence into demand signals.
  • Participate in supply planning meetings and report key takeaways.
  • Summarize industry reports to inform executive perspectives.
