About The Position

The Business Planner – Demand develops and maintains accurate demand forecasts at the Style-Color-SKU level, using Logility DP and input from cross-functional teams to refine the demand plan for the Stream. The role applies forecasting techniques, procedures, standards, and policies, independently analyzes information, and develops solutions to improve processes and forecast accuracy. It collaborates with cross-functional teams and presents planning results. The position requires full-time onsite availability because of frequent interaction with commercial business partners.

The Business Planner delivers forecasts for assigned categories, presents long-range demand scenarios, adjusts statistical forecast parameters, and analyzes market and operational factors to recommend inventory optimization strategies. The role collaborates with Finance, Sales, Merchandising, Replenishment, Supply Planning, and SIOP, including developing a constrained demand plan aligned with capacity reviews and facilitating SOE meetings within the Stream and SyncOps. It operates with minimal supervision and leads efforts to improve planning processes, systems, methodologies, and functional performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a business-related field with a proven record of success.
• Technical skills in data collection, cleansing, and reporting.
• Detail-oriented critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly present complex information.
• Availability to work full-time onsite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate demand forecasts for assigned categories and communicate with Supply Planning about production needs.
• Present long-term demand planning scenarios covering an 18- to 36-month outlook in support of business objectives.
• Proactively adjust statistical forecast parameters and align them with senior leadership strategies.
• Apply advanced forecasting methodologies and established procedures, standards, and policies to refine demand plans.
• Analyze market and operational factors that influence demand and recommend inventory optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Merchandising, Replenishment, and Supply Planning to build consensus on future demand forecasts.
• Manage category risks and opportunities in alignment with the NPI process.
• Maintain alignment with key partners to optimize performance indicators.
• Independently handle complex assignments, clarify ambiguity, and drive structured problem-solving.
• Lead teams in optimizing processes, systems, and methodologies to address evolving business requirements and improve functional performance.
• Work with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and sound decision-making.
• Advance professional, high-quality planning standards.
• Collaborate with SIOP and Supply Planning to develop a constrained demand plan aligned with capacity review.
• Facilitate SOE meetings within the Stream and SyncOps.
• Present results to cross-functional teams.
