About The Position

onsemi is seeking a candidate with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to join the Demand Planning Team within Supply Chain Management. The Demand Planner drives forecast consensus between Sales and Business Unit stakeholders to produce the Unconstrained Demand Plan (URDP). Forecast alignment and accuracy are critical to onsemi’s success, and the role collaborates with global cross-functional teams to support corporate revenue strategy and goals.

This on-site role is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and works with sales, engineering, marketing, and operations professionals around the world. The Demand Planner leads consensus demand reviews as part of the S&OP process in partnership with Sales, Business Units, and Manufacturing Operations. The role also participates in weekly Business Unit business reviews and monthly Sales forecast reviews to drive alignment with S&OP and S&OE.

Requirements

• Coursework in Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
• Ability to drive actions forward and adhere to milestones and timelines.
• Ability to work directly with partner teams to gather inputs and present findings autonomously.
• Ability to translate nuanced research or modeling findings into clear presentation materials and comfort presenting verbally.
• At least 2 years of business, demand planning, or relevant experience.
• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build a demand forecast that fits business needs.
• Work with the supply and capacity planning team to align production plans with the demand forecast.
• Develop segment strategies for multiple phases of production to optimize and drive inventory strategy.
• Identify critical technology capabilities and gaps to support work processes.
• Meet key inventory objectives while ensuring optimal levels that reduce or eliminate excess and obsolete inventory.
• Communicate gaps or deviations from the production plan and the recovery strategy to be deployed to ensure goal attainment.
• Lead consensus demand reviews as part of the S&OP process in partnership with Sales, Business Units, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Participate in weekly Business Unit business reviews and monthly Sales forecast reviews to drive alignment with S&OP and S&OE.
