The Business Partner, Issues Communications, collaborates across the organization to manage and communicate key issues initiatives and is responsible for crafting clear and engaging external communications across a wide range of subjects and channels. The role manages communications of sensitive and confidential matters impacting our brand and employees and creates opportunities to drive engagement and connection through earned media and digital platforms. This role works cross-functionally with all departments including (but not limited to) Executive team, HR, Operations, Legal, Client Experience, Marketing, Client Development, and Stakeholder Engagement to respond to issues that arise in the field or through media and manage communication strategies that support the organization’s business objectives and drive client engagement and connections. This role ensures that sensitive and confidential issues communications, key strategy initiatives, change management, critical incidents, and crisis communications processes are managed in a compelling and tactful way. In addition, the Business Partner, Issues Communications will serve as part of our Corporate Brand Office – developing and managing communication standards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement on issues and proactively building strategies to address them.
