About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Operations Manager to help scale the engine that powers Infostrux. Reporting into senior leadership, you will be the connective tissue between our people, processes, and systems, turning ambiguity into structure and helping the business run more efficiently as we continue to grow. You will own and improve the operational backbone of a fast-paced consulting firm, including internal tooling, business performance reporting, governance, and cross-functional initiatives that span delivery, sales, finance, and people operations. The ideal candidate brings the analytical rigour of a consultant, the systems-thinking of an operator, and the comfort with technology that comes from working in a data-driven environment. You thrive in environments where playbooks need to be written, not just followed, and you find energy in solving messy problems that cross team boundaries. Above all, you understand that great operations are the multiplier behind great teams, and you take pride in building the systems that let everyone else do their best work.

Requirements

  • 5-9 years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy & operations, or management consulting, with at least part of that experience inside a consulting firm or professional services/technology company.
  • A consultative, structured approach to problem-solving—you can scope a messy problem, build a hypothesis, gather data, and drive to a recommendation without needing perfect inputs.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with fluency in spreadsheets and a working comfort with BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or similar). SQL skills are a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or administering core business systems such as CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and project/work management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and drive programs to completion in a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational topics for both executive and front-line audiences.
  • A high degree of ownership, attention to detail, and bias toward action—you are equally comfortable building the strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute it.
  • Experience supporting or owning internal governance and compliance programs (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar) within a tech or consulting environment.
  • A collaborative, low-ego mindset and a genuine interest in helping people and teams succeed.
  • A builder's mindset when it comes to AI and automation—you actively use modern AI tools, and ideally have hands-on experience designing agents, workflows, or automations that solve real operational problems. You see AI not as a trend to track, but as a lever to eliminate manual work and scale the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the operating model of a consulting or professional services firm (project margins, SOW lifecycle) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up, ideally one that has scaled from 50 to 200+ employees.
  • Exposure to data, analytics, or cloud-native technology environments (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable process/program management certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team on annual and quarterly planning, OKR setting, and execution tracking. Translate strategic priorities into operational roadmaps and ensure the right systems, metrics, and rituals exist to drive accountability.
  • Identify friction points across the business and design scalable processes that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and support growth. Lead continuous improvement initiatives spanning delivery, sales, recruiting, and back-office functions.
  • Own the internal tooling stack (CRM, time tracking, project management, business intelligence) end-to-end. Evaluate, implement, and integrate tools that scale with the business and ensure they are adopted and used effectively across teams.
  • Define the KPIs that matter, build the dashboards that surface them, and create the reporting cadences that keep leadership informed. Turn raw operational and financial data into clear narratives and recommendations.
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives—from launching a new service offering to rolling out a new operating model. Bring structure, communication, and momentum to programs that touch multiple teams.
  • Support the commercial engine by improving pipeline hygiene, refining proposal and SOW processes, and ensuring smooth handoffs between sales and delivery. Help track engagement margins, forecast accuracy, and project health.
  • Partner with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting. Manage key vendor and software relationships, optimize spend, and ensure contract renewals are handled proactively.
  • Document how we work. Build the runbooks, templates, and onboarding materials that allow Infostrux to scale without losing the quality and culture that make us who we are. Oversee the company's internal governance and compliance program, ensuring policies, controls, and certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO, privacy frameworks) are kept current, audit-ready, and embedded into how teams operate day to day.
