About The Position

AV is building a team of elite operators to tackle the most pressing challenges facing the company, from solving supply chain bottlenecks to modernizing our finance systems. The company is entering a period of unprecedented growth, and the Business Operations function will play a critical role in transforming the company’s speed of execution. This role is for someone with high agency and high grit who wants significant ownership early in their career. You will work across the company, often on problems without an obvious answer or playbook, while helping AV operate with more of the speed and urgency of a startup.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience solving business or operational problems in fast-paced environments such as management consulting, startups, or private equity portfolio operations
  • Experience carrying a problem from analysis through implementation
  • High agency and high grit; takes ownership, learns quickly, and pushes through obstacles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with limited direction and manage multiple priorities at once

Responsibilities

  • Own projects and workstreams from problem definition through implementation
  • Dig into processes, systems, and data to understand what is actually causing the problem
  • Develop practical solutions and work directly with teams to put them in place
  • Work across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Programs, Growth, and other teams
  • Improve processes and systems that create delays, manual work, or poor handoffs
  • Move quickly, keep stakeholders aligned, and stay with the work until the solution is in place
