About The Position

The Business Operations Manager will serve as a critical partner to engineering leadership, driving the operational excellence that keeps the Distributed Systems Engineering (DSE) organization moving forward. This role is part of a dynamic, collaborative group that thrives on solving complex problems and bridging the gap between technical execution and business strategy. The team provides the operational backbone for engineers to innovate at scale and partners directly with SVP-level leadership to turn complex engineering visions into reality, ensuring resources, budgets, and strategic initiatives are aligned. This is a high-visibility team where work directly enables the success of the entire Infrastructure Engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in engineering operations or project management within the high-tech industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Documented experience leading quarterly or annual planning processes within an engineering organization.
  • Use of AI tools to analyze data and develop presentations for executive level audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience in conducting data analysis related to budgets, headcount, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring roadmap is supported by accurate budget, headcount, and resource analysis.
  • Orchestrate key organizational meetings and events, providing structure for leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Streamline workflows and remove roadblocks to project success by managing cross-functional partnerships with Finance and TPM teams.
  • Translate high-level strategy into repeatable, efficient processes that allow engineering teams to focus on their core work.
