As part of the 737 Business Operations team, this leader will be responsible for Production and Program Management, a core foundation of the 737 Program Management Office. The team is responsible for Management System & Integration (internal and external reporting), Program Initiatives, Work Statement Management, Directives, Program Planning, Program Capital, Risk Issue & Opportunity Management, SMS Integration. The team also leads the Renton, WA site, inclusive of organizing employee events and external visits. The selected Business Operations Manager will be expected to be able to manage conflicting priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and have a strong people focus. Expectations include both being a leader of a diverse team, and engaging directly with executives, including the 737 VPGM, as both a critical thinking teammate and ensure administrative requirements are met (presentations, logistics, etc). There is a significant opportunity to evolve the engagement between the Program Management Office and our teammates throughout the production system, migrating individual contributors on the team from leading data calls and the collation of data to being active members of the production system, eliminating the need for a data call as the individuals are so embedded in the teams, they know all the data. The selected leader will drive this change and build a platform for it to expand across all of 737 Business Operations. This is an opportunity to leverage strong operational, analytic, communication, problem solving and strategic skills to integrate across the 737 value stream.
