About The Position

Our client, a well-respected, innovative healthcare organization, located in Nassau County, has engaged us to assist them in finding an experienced leader to assume the role of Business Operations Director of Community Programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Hospice and Home Care programs, while looking for opportunities to improve the process operationally and technologically. This role also supports the financial performance of the programs and the development of clinical scheduling processes along with identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

5–7+ years of progressive leadership experience in home health, hospice, or post-acute care operations.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-site or multi-service line operations (CHHA and hospice strongly preferred).
Proven success in improving operational performance, regulatory compliance, and financial outcomes.
Deep knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation for home health and hospice.
Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid billing, documentation, and reimbursement.
Proficiency with home care EMRs, experience with scheduling, EVV/workforce management systems.
Strong data management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records to comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Coordinating with appropriate parties to ensure agency patient billing data is captured and processed timely.
Directly oversee practice operations to include: daily client care, schedules, finances, physician/support team management, documentation and clinical procedures.
Provide leadership and vision to the organization through "management by example."
Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business operations.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
