About The Position

Surface Experts Boston North is a growing service-based business, and we need a sharp, systems-oriented professional to own the "back office" engine. Not just paperwork - you are managing the workflows that allow our field and sales teams to win. This role drives the efficient operations of the business. You will work with the Field Team, Sales Team, and Owner to develop and execute efficient Technical, Sales, and Business Operations systems. Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider. We repair small damage to surfaces like Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Cabinets, Appliances, Furniture, Elevator Panels. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites. We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile. Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
  • Purchasing Supplies & Materials (Amazon, Home Depot, SE Orders, etc.)
  • Invoice Preparation & Submission (Contacts, Work Description, Before/After Photos)
  • Accounts Receivable Support
  • Customer Contact Information Database Management (Vonigo & Quo)
  • Repair Photo Database Management (CompanyCam)
  • Large Project & Warranty Partner Support (ABG, Kohler, New Construction, etc.)
  • Business Compliance Management
  • Vehicle Info & Maintenance Management
  • Assist in Develop & Document SOPs
  • Scheduling: Collaborate with Sales, Techs, & SC to manage and optimize Repair Technicians schedules
  • Communicate with customers to plan and confirm repair date/time
  • Weekly Schedule Development & Distribution
  • Business Development (Account Management Support)
  • Assist w/ Creating & Sending Quotes
  • Customer Follow-up & Misc Communication
  • Occasional Outside Sales (Scheduled Walk-thrus & Meetings)
  • Identify, implement, and document solutions to improve business methods and processes
  • Prioritize customer relationships and customer service
