Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred not required; specific degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Strong understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations (Proposals, Orders, Forecasting, Account Management, Goals and Objectives)
  • Project management experience, with proven track-record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Business experience; may include administration, sales, or communications.
  • Strategic thinker, analytical, creative, and can work cross-functionally to get things done.
  • Extremely organized and able to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to rapidly absorb various details and formulate plans for execution in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Operative skills in areas of interpersonal, prioritization and planning, goal setting and problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Canadian Sales Team, including expense management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and other tasks as required to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage install base and install analysis for Region to help identify sales opportunities.
  • Manage quarterly and annual forecast, backlog accuracy, and revenue operations.
  • Track sales pipeline and closed opportunities.
  • Maintain period reports required by Varian and Siemens Healthineers Leadership.
  • Organize, plan, and execute annual team meetings, including coordinating presentations, managing travel and lodging arrangements, and overseeing training facility logistics.
  • Support the Canadian team with various tasks and responsibilities as needed to drive team objectives and business priorities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day office operations in Halifax NS Office.
  • Support new employee on boarding by preparing workspaces, coordinating building access, and helping with office orientation.
  • Work with other Siemens Healthineers office teams (Canadian and International) on corporate campaigns, educational activities
  • This role will collaborate closely with various internal Varian and SHL Canada teams to ensure quotation quality assurance, compliance with government terms, pricing accuracy, and preparation of consolidation vendor workups.
  • Additionally, this position will assist in managing government price books, including new product and part number updates, as well as routine price book modifications.
