Zero Homes is seeking a Business Operations Analyst, Planning to own the company's future outlook regarding sales, delivery capabilities, and resource needs. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Business Operations and is responsible for developing demand forecasts and capacity plans that guide decisions on personnel, contractor capacity, and capital allocation. The position requires a deep understanding of the business to identify constraints and provide actionable plans for leadership. The analyst will manage demand planning by market, channel, and program, incorporating factors like lead rates, close rates, install rates, and backlog. They will also incorporate levers that influence volume such as pricing, marketing spend, staffing, and new market entries. Monitoring performance against plan and adjusting forecasts as needed is crucial. For supply and capacity planning, the role involves translating demand into requirements for contractor capacity, equipment, and timing. Identifying potential constraints in capacity, equipment, or funding and quantifying their impact is key. Modeling capacity for new markets, programs, and product launches will ensure informed decision-making. Collaboration with Fulfillment and Supply Chain teams is necessary to ensure plans are realistic. The role also includes running the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cadence to align demand, capacity, and procurement across Sales, Fulfillment, and Finance. This involves surfacing risks, proposing solutions, and partnering with Finance on scenario analysis for major decisions. Additionally, the analyst will build an AI-enabled planning stack, automate models, document methods and assumptions, and leverage AI tools to expedite analysis.
