About The Position

As our Sales & Marketing Analyst, you will assist the Business Operations team in expanding the capacity and level of strategic support that they provide to the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams. You will support Go-To-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) by building, maintaining, and monitoring reporting dashboards that track sales, marketing, and customer performance. You will conduct sales territory analysis, proactively flagging trends, risks and opportunities for improvement, tracking performance trends and advising on potential changes. You will analyze sales data and deal approvals and provide insights to support decision‑making. You will review marketing data, including segmentation, campaign performance tracking, and reporting on return on investment (ROI). You will help ensure maintained data quality across systems, troubleshoot issues and support integrations with internal and third‑party data sources. You will build and improve dashboards, update documentation and training materials, respond to ad hoc analysis requests to contribute to scalable reporting and tool usage. You will also assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum (must be completed/earned by May 2026)
  • 1+ years of professional work experience (including co-op/internship experience) in business operations, marketing analytics, sales support, revenue or similar roles.
  • Good problem-solving skills and experience interpreting different operational needs or challenges and identifying resolutions.
  • Familiarity/hands-on experience with using sales or customer account (CRM) and marketing automation software and/or tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting, data validation, and lookup functions.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), usage of digital tools for communication and productivity and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the publishing, ed-tech, language learning or similar industry
  • Experience using Salesforce or Marketo tools
