About The Position

The UNC Department of Dermatology provides medical and surgical care to patients with conditions that affect the skin, hair, nails, and membranes. The Temporary Business Officer position administers and manages certain operational duties for the Department of Dermatology. These duties encompass making sure all clinics and labs run smoothly, efficiently, safely, and in compliance with healthcare standards. This position is responsible for reviewing and monitoring operational data for accuracy, identifying issues, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations. The role serves as an operational resource within the Department of Dermatology Business Office, supporting the department Associate Chair of Administration (ACA) and departmental administrative processes.
