About The Position

Christ the King Manor is a trusted healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality care and services to our residents. We pride ourselves on maintaining excellence in both clinical care and administrative operations. We are currently seeking an experienced, detail oriented working Business Office Manager to facilitate the Billing and Receiving of the business office. Possesses a strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing is essential to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement and compliance. Monitor work queues to insure that workflows are accurate and efficient. Improve timeliness of claim submissions and billing to gain maximum reimbursements and reduce days in accounts receivable and identify and report potential issues to the system Director of Revenue Cycles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare/long term care business office setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing and regulations is required.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work in an office setting

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree but not required
  • Experience with long-term care billing software ( PointClickCare, MatrixCare) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the business office functions, specifically related to resident billing and collections in an office setting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurers.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims and payments.
  • Supervise billing specialists and coordinate workflow for maximum efficiency with CFO.
  • Assist with resident admissions and financial verification.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to billing and resident funds.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and payers for billing inquiries along with the CFO
  • Attends AR, Medicare, Managed Care and Triple Check meetings as required
  • Assists CFO in follow up to outstanding AR items by re-sending bills and notices
  • Assists in writing, maintaining and updating department procedures related to position
  • Cross-training as appropriate
  • Assists with Audit requests as needed
  • Adheres to all Christ the King Manor regulations, policies and procedures particularly those regarding safety and confidentiality.
