Requirements

  • 2+ years of business office experience, ideally in senior living, healthcare, or property management
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and general accounting practices
  • Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid/insurance billing is a plus
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., AppFolio)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate resident billing and collections
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain employee records and files in accordance with HR policies
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Track attendance, PTO, and benefits administration
  • Assist with workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leave management
  • Oversee front office operations and administrative support staff (if applicable)
  • Manage office supplies, mail distribution, and vendor communications
  • Maintain resident financial files and confidential information
  • Respond to resident and family inquiries related to billing or administrative matters
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and organizational standards
