About The Position

The Business Office Manager / Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business office within an organization. This position is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing office resources, and supporting senior management with day-to-day business activities. The role requires coordinating communication between departments, handling financial documentation, and maintaining accurate records to support operational decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to optimizing office workflows, improving organizational efficiency, and fostering a productive work environment. Ultimately, this position serves as a key liaison between staff, clients, and external partners to uphold the company’s professional standards and business objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in office management, administrative support, or a related business role.
  • Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Support senior management by preparing reports, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Oversee financial processes such as invoicing, budgeting assistance, and expense tracking to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy retrieval of business documents.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and timely information exchange.
  • Assist with human resources tasks including onboarding, maintaining employee records, and coordinating training sessions.
  • Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.
