Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Office Coordinator to support daily administrative operations for our growing healthcare organization. This role is responsible for medical records management, data entry, billing support, patient file maintenance, office coordination, scheduling support, and customer service. The ideal candidate has healthcare administrative experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2 years of data entry or administrative experience preferred.
  • Previous healthcare, home health, hospice, or medical office experience preferred.
  • Experience with medical billing, healthcare administration, or insurance processes preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily office operations and administrative functions.
  • Manage patient records, medical documents, and employee files.
  • Perform accurate data entry for employee, patient, and billing information.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, assist patients, families, and visitors.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and office correspondence.
  • Support billing processes and serve as a liaison for accounts payable activities.
  • Maintain contracts, personnel records, and compliance documentation.
  • Order and track office, medical equipment, and clinical supplies.
  • Update and maintain contact databases and mailing lists.
  • Provide backup support for authorizations, intake, and scheduling.
  • Promote a positive culture and uphold organizational values.
  • Assist leadership with administrative projects and special assignments.
