About The Position

This position manages office operations and business functions including, but not limited to time and attendance, payroll, scheduling, and purchasing. Ensures that the group meets the staffing hours requested by the hospitals monthly, recruits and onboards new members, and provides excellent customer service. Uses independent judgment and decision making daily within the small staffing office.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years experience in client services, recruiting or office management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Must achieve monthly volume/revenue/expense targets for the business. Demonstrates clear contributions to reaching the business volume/revenue goals on a monthly basis by efforts to meet client needs with staffing, by developing/implementing creative solutions to overcome challenges, and by supporting a cost effective work environment.
  • Assists with marketing the business line within and outside of Hackensack Meridian Health. Consistently identifies and seizes opportunities to market the business to MHS Departments and Managers and contributes to development of brochures, advertising and marketing materials. Responsible for appointment packets, promotions and proper documentation.
  • Track, analyze, and report on relevant data and metrics as needed and/or requested. Develop, recommend and/or implement actions or process improvements as appropriate. Develops/revises forms and tools necessary to promote the efficient operations of the business line. Utilizes IT whenever possible to streamline the efficiency of operations; makes recommendations to modify/refine current forms/documents to better meet clients`/business.
  • Maintains specific regulatory agency/client files and reports. Accurately completes reports required by regulatory agencies and clients; able to retrieve information from database to create customized reports to meet client/regulatory needs. Responsible for maintaining and securing licenses and certifications.
  • Assist managers with filing vacancies (i.e.LOA`s, PTO coverage, etc.), schedule team member shifts, time and attendance, ensure team member files are in compliance, and onboarding new team members.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
