About The Position

Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) is a division within Computershare responsible for providing trustee and sophisticated agency services for private and public companies, investment bankers, asset managers, governments agencies and other financial institutions. The Business Negotiations Consultant II role operates within the Business Negotiations team that is part of the CCT Originations Group, supporting U.S.-based and international clients. The Business Negotiations Consultant II collaborates with a multitude of internal and external partners to ensure new business and amendments to existing agreements are onboarded in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate trust or financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Effectively negotiate contracts and amendments, minimizing risk to CCT and clients.
  • Analyse and recommend new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and other industry players.
  • Deliver quality, risk-compliant solutions that meet or exceed our customers' needs and expectations.
  • Timely escalation and resolution of known issues to the relevant person(s) and/or team(s).
  • Effectively collaborate with internal partners (e.g., OMT, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Gov. & Control, etc.), as well as external partners.
  • Provide general support to manager and Business Negotiations team.
