About The Position

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. is seeking a Business Marketing Coordinator for the Chlor-Alkali Department. This role provides comprehensive customer service support, ensuring accurate and timely order processing and approval. The coordinator acts as a liaison between plant operations and customers, coordinating logistics for timely delivery via various transportation methods. The position requires maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction, addressing customer needs, and supporting long-term business relationships. A key responsibility includes monitoring and analyzing caustic soda inventory at the Point Comfort and Baton Rouge plants to support efficient production planning and fulfillment.

Requirements

4 years College degree is required.
Must have basic computer skills, the ability to use Microsoft Office.
Acquires and compiles Marketing data and verifies its accuracy, and reasonableness.
Work closely with cross-functional teams.
Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
Presentation and facilitation skills.

Nice To Haves

1 to 5 years Business Development experience is preferred.
Marketing experience in the plastics industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage daily caustic soda order entry and close shipments in Web ERP.
Coordinate with Customers, Logistics Management, and Forwarder, to arrange waterway transportation bookings to ensure on-time delivery. Manage waterway transportation operations and swap activity.
Coordinate with the plant to monitor inventory and align supply with demand.
Update monthly pricing and review sales performance daily.
Manage customer accounts and credit, and handle customer complaints.
Prepare monthly reports and provide data analysis.
Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
