We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Manager to join our team in Englewood, CO. In this strategic leadership role, you will be the operational and financial backbone of a regional business unit, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive profitable growth, operational efficiency, and workforce excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business management, operations, or a similar leadership role
  • Background in electrical construction, utility contracting, or the energy sector is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of managing P&L responsibility and delivering financial results
  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams
  • Excellent communication skills — capable of presenting complex information clearly to executive, operational, and client audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP, project management, or financial systems a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all business unit financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting to ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Analyze financial performance data and present actionable insights to senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Monitor project margins, overhead, and labor utilization to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage accounts receivable, billing processes, and coordinate with corporate finance on cash flow and reporting
  • Partner with Project Managers and field superintendents to ensure projects are executed on schedule, on budget, and in compliance with safety standards
  • Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and best practices that improve efficiency across the business unit
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated operational issues, facilitating resolution with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of administrative, operational, and support personnel
  • Collaborate with HR on talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Champion PAR's culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the business unit
  • Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials
  • Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities including new markets, partnerships, and service expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to reinforce PAR's reputation and competitive position
