About The Position

Our Summer Business Management Programme has been crafted to simulate our Business Graduate Programme so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like. As an intern, you will join one of our flagship trading services – London Stock Exchange, LSEG FX, Tradeweb, Turquoise – or LCH our global leading multi-asset clearing houses. We help customers across the trade life cycle, ensuring compliance and efficiency in clearing and reporting obligations, while granting access to diverse liquidity pools across various asset classes, fostering growth for customers, communities, and economies worldwide. The dynamic nature of the division means grads will join a fast-paced environment where instant reaction and long-term vision are equally important. As an intern you can expect exposure across: Solve problems for our FX customers! We understand their business goals, maintain relationships with existing customers, keep them informed and deal with post sale activity. Or research analysis into global markets which could have a focus on debt listings, valuations, and shareholder and geographic analysis. Or Delivery of business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements. Or Risk teams, which involves monitoring and analysing risks, and interpreting data in readiness for the delivery of risk projects or reporting. Joining as an intern will allow you to be an individual contributor, and assist the product lifecycle, and work as a team to develop specialist skills. Our 9 weeks summer interns play a part in the success of our organisation, just like they would do as a graduate.

Requirements

Must be a penultimate year undergraduate student due to complete all the requirements of your course summer 2027.
Demonstrable interest in financial markets, built through studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
Curiosity for data and an ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
Ability to connect the dots and think strategically.
Ability to demonstrate focus, resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate with others, using strong communication skills.
Must have the right to work in the US without restrictions for the duration of the programme.
Demonstrate and recognise that what you achieve is equally important as how you achieve it.

Responsibilities

Solve problems for our FX customers, understanding their business goals, maintaining relationships with existing customers, keeping them informed and dealing with post sale activity.
Conduct research and analysis into global markets, which could have a focus on debt listings, valuations, and shareholder and geographic analysis.
Deliver business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements.
Monitor and analyse risks, and interpret data in readiness for the delivery of risk projects or reporting within Risk teams.
Act as an individual contributor, assist the product lifecycle, and work as a team to develop specialist skills.
