This Business Lead role reports to the Regional Manager for Software Controls and is a critical and visible position. The territory covers Ohio, with up to 50% travel. The role is based in the territory and involves both remote and office work. Business Unit Leaders serve as commercial and technical resources for a segment of Rockwell Automation's portfolio, specifically Software & Control. The primary objective is to maximize and manage sales within the assigned geography (primarily Ohio) by supporting sales activities, launching new products, ensuring sales and channel competency, providing commercial program support, and executing marketing activities. This role involves advising on proposals, pricing, and sales pursuit strategies, and providing feedback on product/service gaps and development needs for the assigned markets. Areas of expertise include Logix controllers and I/O platforms, Industrial networks switches, Operator interfaces (e.g., PanelView), Industrial Computers, Design Software (e.g., Studio 5000), Operation and Visualization Software (e.g., FactoryTalk products), and Information & Analytics software.
