About The Position
Our client is seeking a self-sufficient, detail-oriented lawyer with approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in business law. This role offers a flexible work arrangement and a people-first, collaborative culture that breaks away from traditional structures. The lawyer will be involved in a variety of corporate and commercial law matters, working directly with entrepreneurs and business leaders. It's a hands-on, business-oriented role with the flexibility to grow and shape one's practice based on interests, without the rigidity of large firms.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in business law
- Self-sufficient
- Detail-oriented
- Eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing practice
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (shareholders’ agreements, service agreements, client contracts, loan agreements, licenses, etc.)
- Participating in corporate transactions and reorganizations (share or asset purchases and sales, letters of intent, corporate structuring updates, ownership changes)
- Supporting senior lawyers on transactional matters
- Collaborating with other professionals on business-oriented legal mandates
