Requirements

Membership in the Barreau du Québec
Approximately 3+ years of experience practicing in business law
Strong exposure to transactions and corporate reorganizations
Relevant experience in corporate transactions, commercial law, and restructurings gained at a leading law firm
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English

Responsibilities

Participate in a variety of corporate transactions (mergers & acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and other strategic operations)
Independently manage certain mandates or components of transactions, including client and stakeholder coordination
Advise clients on corporate law matters (incorporation, governance, compliance) and negotiate commercial agreements (shareholder agreements, share and asset purchase agreements, partnerships, co-ownership agreements)
