The Business Intelligence Specialist is a strategic contributor to the firm's Marketing and Business Development function, responsible for delivering high-impact research, competitive intelligence, and market insights that support business development initiatives, client development efforts, and strategic firm priorities. Sitting within the Business Development team and reporting to the Director of Business Development, this role works closely with attorneys, practice group leaders, firm leadership, Marketing and BD professionals, and Knowledge Research Services to provide timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence on clients, prospects, industries, and competitors. The role also supports the firm’s growth initiatives by identifying market opportunities, developing actionable recommendations, and uncovering cross-practice expansion opportunities that strengthen client relationships and drive strategic business development efforts. The ideal candidate combines rigorous research skills with commercial instincts and the ability to synthesize complex findings into polished, executive-ready deliverables that drive decisions. Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to work fluidly across the firm are essential.
