About The Position

The Business Intelligence Manager leads the Sales organization’s analytics modernization—managing complex internal, syndicated, and customer data with the goal of turning data into intelligent business action. This role owns Data Visualization, Data Science capabilities, AI integration and Project Management and is accountable for execution within these verticals. Success is measured by delivered, adopted solutions that improve insight quality, decision velocity, forecasting accuracy, and commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Power BI, SAP Business Objects/SAC, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), prompt engineering best practices, and platform-embedded AI features (SAC Just Ask, Power BI Copilot, Snowflake Cortex).
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, and ability to take ideas from concept to full implementation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of analytics experience in Retail, Wholesale, or CPG.
  • Proven experience implementing systems and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Data Visualization leader, via Power BI, across sell-thru, pace, share, distribution, and syndicated data sources.
  • Standardize performance measurement and insight routines to support Sales Leadership decision-making.
  • Evaluate and implement data integration and automation platforms (e.g., ETL/ELT and workflow orchestration tools) to streamline data flows into analytics and reporting environments.
  • Deploy predictive and statistical models to support forecasting, opportunity sizing, and performance diagnostics.
  • Champion automation and scalable analytical workflows using Alteryx, Power BI and AI tools.
  • Serve as the Sales organization's translator between AI capability and commercial application.
  • Build AI fluency across the Account Management and BI&A teams.
  • Partner with the broader Callaway AI/IT function to shape the long-term roadmap for AI in commercial analytics—how AI augments (rather than replaces) analyst capacity as workload scales.
  • Act as project manager for all sales data initiatives, prioritizing work, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery.
  • Partner with IT teams on data warehousing requirements without owning engineering execution.
  • Serve as sales administrator and business owner for SAP Analytics Cloud, SPS Commerce, and Alteryx.
  • Ensure governance, adoption, and scalability of analytics platforms in partnership with IT.
