About The Position

Koch Meat Co., Inc. d/b/a Koch Foods, Inc. in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to develop optimizing tools that guide strategic decisions and enhance supply chain and sales efficiency. This role involves utilizing Supply Chain Analytics, transportation, inventory, and operations management with software like Excel Solver and Power BI. The manager will provide automation in KPIs and Reports for logistics, customer service, quality, and sales management. They will also design and execute Distribution Requirement Planning for the Retail company, managing over 50 SKUs across 5 warehouses to maximize service levels and optimize truckloads. Additionally, the role includes executing portfolio rationalization projects to identify surplus inventory and product obsolescence, contributing to working capital reduction and improving the business view of supply chain support for sales execution. The manager will create an inventory policy using periodic review methodology with a statistical approach to target service level increases, leveraging their operations management skills. The goal is to optimize supply chain decisions and support sales and logistics through data-driven reports.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in data analytics, data science, supply chain management, or related field
• 12 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
• Experience with business intelligence tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
• Experience with supply chain in food and agriculture sector

Responsibilities

• Develop optimizing tools guiding strategical decisions and providing supply chain and sales efficiency through Supply Chain Analytics, transportation, inventory and operations management utilizing software related to optimization (Excel Solver, Power BI)
• Provide automation in KPIS and Reports embracing logistics, customer service, quality and sales management
• Design and execute the Distribution Requirement Planning for the Retail company for more than 50 SKUs across 5 warehouses in order to maximize service level optimizing the truckloads for the company
• Execute projects of portfolio rationalization to identify surplus of inventory and obsolescence of products, and contribute with the working capital reduction, enhancing the business view as well as how the supply chain can support the sales execution
• Create an inventory policy in order to apply the periodic review methodology with statistical approach and targeting service level increase, based on his specific operations management skills
• Optimize supply chain decisions and support sales and logistics through data driven reports
