About The Position

The Business Intelligence Lead within our business applications team is responsible for driving the Global Support organization's business intelligence, telemetry, and analytics capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. The role leads the delivery and evolution of telemetry, reporting, and insight solutions that provide leadership and service delivery team with accurate, actionable intelligence to measure performance, optimise operations, and inform strategic investment decisions. Working collaboratively across Product Management, Engineering, Support Operations, Finance, vendors, and business stakeholders, the role transforms complex data into meaningful business insights, ensures effective governance of strategic initiatives, and delivers measurable business value through continuous improvement, portfolio management, and digital transformation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in low-code application development, engineering product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years working in Business Intelligence & Analytics including: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI (semantic models, dashboards, DAX, Power Query, data modelling)
  • Azure Data Explorer (Kusto / KQL) for telemetry
  • SQL Server / Azure SQL
  • Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, Lakehouse and ONeLake
  • Data visualization and storytelling best practices
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • AI-powered reporting and analytics
  • 2+ years of experience managing and configuring artificial intelligence solutions in a telemetry environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, telemetry, reporting solutions, analytics engineering, or technical program management, or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Project management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Global Support’s data strategy, ensuring data, telemetry, and analytics capabilities are AI ready, scalable, and aligned to business priorities and digital transformation objectives.
  • Drive adoption of modern automation technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI and AI capabilities, to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Design and implement scalable telemetry, reporting, and analytics capabilities that enable data-driven decision making.
  • Translate stakeholder and business requirements into measurable business intelligence solutions that improve user experience and operational outcomes.
  • Develop intuitive reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights for business leaders and operational teams.
  • Partner with users throughout solution design and iteration, incorporating feedback to continuously improve functionality and adoption.
  • Ensure telemetry accurately reflects customer journeys and identifies opportunities to improve service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Develop intelligent digital experiences that simplify how employees access operational insights and business performance information.
  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into business intelligence and operational workflows to improve productivity and decision making.
  • Continuously improve reporting platforms through user feedback, performance analytics, and evolving business requirements.
  • Design and maintain scalable telemetry, reporting, and monitoring capabilities that improve operational visibility and service health.
  • Develop automated workflows and integrations that improve reliability, reduce operational overhead, and optimise support processes.
  • Establish governance, quality standards, and best practices for business intelligence & reporting.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Support Operations, Finance, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic business intelligence capabilities.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring business objectives are translated into effective technical solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to define priorities, validate requirements, and align delivery with strategic business outcomes.
  • Research and evaluate emerging business intelligence, analytics, AI, and low-code technologies to identify opportunities for continuous innovation.
  • Prototype and rapidly iterate new analytics capabilities using stakeholder feedback and measurable business outcomes.
  • Share best practices and success stories that demonstrate how data-driven insights improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
  • Represent the organisation's business intelligence capability in cross-functional forums, contributing expertise that supports enterprise transformation.
