About The Position

Divergent is seeking an enthusiastic student to support its Data Team by creating analytics and enhancing data infrastructure for AI workflows and agents. The intern will build visual dashboards and reporting tools, document data workflows, contribute to data models accessible to business users and AI, and work directly with stakeholders to define and execute projects that deliver value. This is a 12-week summer 2027 internship based onsite in Torrance, California.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
• Undergraduate student or first-year master's student in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Excel and SQL.
• Ability to drive projects from start to finish and exercise good judgment about when to find solutions independently and when to seek guidance.
• Ability to accurately and completely collect business requirements from stakeholders and communicate findings clearly, concisely, and effectively.
• Desire to learn, willingness to engage with new topics, and interest in providing long-term value beyond simply completing projects.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Responsibilities
