About The Position

This role involves the development of ongoing reports, analyses, and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements within the Supply Chain teams. The Business Intelligence Engineer II will work on areas such as network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, and delivery experience to enhance customer satisfaction and in-stock positions. The position requires analyzing demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to address resource constraints. Collaboration with other technology teams is necessary for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms. The role also involves recognizing and adopting best practices in reporting, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. A key aspect of the job is to analyze and solve problems at their root, considering the broader context, and responding to high-priority requests from senior business leaders. Additionally, the role focuses on improving ongoing analysis processes, including automation and simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field and 3 years of experience required as a Business Intelligence Analysts or a related position/occupation.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field and 1 year of experience required as a Business Intelligence Analysts or a related position/occupation.
  • Experience must include 1 year with the following: Forecasting; Supply chain; Data warehousing; Tableau, Excel and SQL expertise; Snowflake; and Data modeling experience in Retail/E-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Development of ongoing reports, analyses and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements.
  • Work with the Supply Chain teams in areas including network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, delivery experience for improved customer experience and in-stock positions.
  • Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints.
  • Communicate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
  • Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
  • Improve ongoing analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.
