About The Position

This position is critical for local payor extracts and at-risk contracts such as Excellus, Fidelis and Molina. The position is regional and supports both St. Joseph's and St. Peter's Health Partners. Hospital Experience is highly recommended. The Report Developer will be responsible for analyzing and resolving issues related to reports and data, analyzing, designing, and developing reports and extracts, managing vendors, project management, providing reporting maintenance and support for routine system upgrades, providing technical support and coordination for clinical and operational leaders, and supporting end-user reporting training as needed. A good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required.

Requirements

Report Development & Data Reporting Expertise
Strong SQL & SSIS (ETL) Skills
EPIC Reporting Experience (or ability to certify)
Chronicles – Basic understanding
Crystal Reports – Mastery
EPIC – Basic (certified) within (6) months
KBSQL and/or SQL – Proficiency
Microsoft Access, Excel and Word – Proficiency
Microsoft PowerPoint and Project – Basic understanding
Minimum (3) years experience in a report developer role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Windows - Proficiency

Nice To Haves

Hospital Experience Highly recommended
EPIC certification a plus
