About The Position

This role focuses on owning the extraction, transformation, and validation of data from multiple sources to support business analysis and reporting. The BI Analyst will write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, design and build scalable datasets and data models, and partner with business and technical teams to define data requirements. Additionally, the role involves identifying data quality issues, developing automated reporting and data pipelines, analyzing large datasets to identify trends and key business drivers, and creating documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting logic.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
• Experience working with large, relational datasets and building data models for analytics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Databricks/Hive/Snowflake schemas)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Access or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting logic
