About The Position

Farther is a rapidly growing registered investment adviser (RIA) combining expert advisors with technology to provide tailored wealth management. The Business Intelligence Associate will support finance reporting and analysis, working directly with the Revenue Operations Manager and alongside the Finance team. The role focuses on maintaining clean, current, useful data and running monthly reporting, with hands-on projects, coaching, and a stated development path toward data analyst or data science work in finance and AI.

Requirements

• Interest in finance or wealth management and a clear reason for wanting to build a career in the field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
• At least one relevant internship.
• Intermediate Python and SQL skills, including comfort reading code and working with AI to write and debug code.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity when working with numbers.
• Coachable, motivated, and quick to learn, with the ability to apply feedback to improve work.

Nice To Haves

• Early-career experience in finance, fintech, consulting, or analytics.
• Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
• Background in wealth management or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly financial and operational reports using established frameworks, ensuring they are accurate and delivered on time.
• Use SQL and Python to pull data from databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, identify trends, and answer questions.
• Check data quality so stakeholders can trust reported information.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and automate recurring work.
• Support ad hoc requests from Finance, Revenue Operations, and partner teams such as HubSpot, and explain findings in plain English.
