About The Position

Electrolux is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Business Intelligence Team in Charlotte. This role is crucial for driving data-led, purpose-driven growth by analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities using internal and third-party data. The analyst will be responsible for providing data and business insights, communicating effectively, and building strong relationships with internal and external teams. They will also develop data tools to support the organization in achieving its business targets, acting as the primary resource for industry data and influencing its use within the company.

Requirements

  • BA or equivalent degree in Business or related field required.
  • 5+ years as Business Analyst
  • Demonstrable experience working with both BI teams and business stakeholders.
  • Data driven – with strong analytical skills that form the basis of your work.
  • Expert in securing quality, consistent data.
  • Expert in interpreting industry data sets, and core understanding of their origin and meaning.
  • Expert at using data to answer questions both asked and unasked.
  • A great communicator that can get to a meaningful quickly and anticipate follow ups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organized for results; you set the pace and the priorities, and then you bring a methodical approach to meeting your goals.
  • Agile; Both reactive and proactive, you work efficiently and flexibly to deliver results.
  • Dynamic; you can think in a creative and strategic way but are adept at delivering.
  • Results oriented with a focus on quality, efficiency and operational excellence, attitude of continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Data Visualization with Excell, PowerPoint, Power BI (or similar visualization tools).
  • Interactive, immersive dashboard and reports that provide actionable insights for faster and better decision making at governance meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with third-party industry providers data, identify data strategy and lead implementation in line with commercial priorities.
  • Collect, normalize, marry, and translate data from several sources (and of various qualities) into dashboards and Business Intelligence reports with great visualization.
  • Support Business Intelligence head to a data-driven approach to raise business IQ & accelerate effective decision making.
  • Partners with key internal stakeholders to define the key metrics and targets taking a data-driven approach of benchmarking internally and externally.
  • Perform ad-hoc business analysis, to drill down on business challenges, providing conclusions and advice based on data analysis.
  • Analyze new trends and do benchmarks on competitors.
  • Act as a change agent for the organization driving data maturity by building out the knowledge and cultivating the competencies, we need to better leverage data in our day-to-day work.
  • Foster a thorough understanding of the value of data inside of the organization and evangelizing for greater use of consumer data to further grow our business online.
