About The Position

The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a fast-paced, high-volume industry powerhouse based in El Segundo to find a sharp, curious Data Analyst. This role is not a glorified Excel job; it requires a data detective who uses AI tools, hunts down pattern inconsistencies, and understands the business behind the dashboard. The ideal candidate is someone who is driven to understand discrepancies in data, proficient in SQL and Snowflake, and skilled at explaining data insights to non-technical stakeholders. The role involves leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow and trend spotting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong SQL development skills.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Experience with large-scale Tableau delivery.
Active experience leveraging AI tools for analytics, automation, or pattern detection.
Background in data modeling, ETL integrations, and validating complex reports.
Ability to be onsite 4 days a week in the El Segundo / South Bay area.

Responsibilities

Analyze transactional datasets, perform pattern recognition, spot gaps/inconsistencies, and compare reports for validation (40%).
Write and optimize SQL queries, work with data modeling, and handle ETL integrations using Snowflake (30%).
Design and deliver large-scale Tableau dashboards for cross-functional leadership (20%).
Translate data findings into profit/margin recommendations by collaborating with Finance and Ops teams (10%).
