About The Position

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Priceline, you will be a subject matter expert on B2B business metrics and trends. You will formulate project ideas, identify opportunities, and implement new strategies to maximize business growth. This role involves monitoring business metrics, explaining trends and drivers, and recommending actions based on key insights. You will execute end-to-end deep dives and exploratory analysis on business performance, connecting insights to business outcomes. Additionally, you will provide analytical support for initiatives across various teams such as Commercial, Supply, Finance, and Product Management. You will also develop and operationalize tools to monitor and improve business performance and efficiency, and partner with other business units and sister companies to make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies. This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of extension for high-impact performers.

Requirements

  • Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to problem solving and the ability to extract value from data and connect insights to business outcomes
  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, comfortable working independently, strong listener, innovator, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Expertise in Excel, SQL and Tableau or similar data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlikview)
  • Minimum 2 year of Analytics experience, preferably in the Travel or Ecommerce industries
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Information Technology, or Computer Science
  • Exhibit the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
  • A team player with a professional “get it done” attitude
  • Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of BigQuery/GCP and Python is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor business metrics, explain trends and drivers and recommend actions based on key insights
