About The Position
An advanced analytical professional who uses independent judgment and subject-matter and technical expertise to solve complex business questions. The role builds complex solutions, delivers actionable insights, and leads project teams to support operational or financial decisions. As an independent contributor, this position bridges raw data and actionable strategy by leading business and technical requirements gathering, building rapid proofs of concept, and presenting data-driven recommendations to operational leaders. Working with minimal oversight, the analyst applies advanced analytical skills to novel problems without established procedures and mentors junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Six years of recent relevant experience.
- Progressive experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Proven experience independently solving complex business problems.
- Strong experience building dashboards in a primary visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience writing advanced SQL queries for complex data exploration and extraction.
- Experience leading small-to-medium analytical projects.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting modeling concepts.
- Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong independent judgment and ability to tackle novel, ambiguous business questions.
- Epic Cogito Certification within one year.
- Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate within one year.
