  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
  • Minimum of 3-years experience in a healthcare setting, with experience in finance, business intelligence, or clinical systems.
  • Some level of experience with database / analytics software is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise with BI tools such as Tableau to create models, dashboards or other analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with EPIC-Op time and IT Teams to identify and build needed analytical reports to extract surgeons preference card data.
  • Collaborate and work closely with operating room leaders, staff, and surgeons to obtain timely and accurate information needed to maintain surgeons preference cards by developing a system work flow process.
  • Formalize by developing policies and procedures.
  • Assure compliance to policies and procedures and follow up with OR leadership with non-compliance.
  • Optimize the use of individual surgeon's preference cards for each surgical procedure system-wide.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize process across the Memorial HealthCare system.
  • Collect and analyze data from Surgeons¿ preference cards and identify opportunities for standardization.
  • Coordinate with OR management on acquiring information on preferences for newly hired physicians.
  • Develop tracking tool to audit correct case cart picks.
  • Develop dashboard to represent number of cards standardized, updated, maintained, deleted, percentage of accuracy, and methods to improve service.
  • Identify savings opportunities.
  • Review touchpoint reduction (Labor).
  • Create a feedback process for continuous improvement of preference cards.
  • Create, maintain, update and make system-wide changes to Surgeons Preference Cards in OpTime.
  • Set up hospital/office appointments with surgeons to assure ongoing accurate and up to date information regarding preference cards.
  • Attend the monthly system wide Operating Room Directors meeting to provide update on preference card standardization.
  • Meet with physicians and facilitate data input into system in preparation for scheduled procedures in timely manner.
  • Set up hospital/office appointments to meet and work directly with current surgeons to create, maintain, and update preference cards on an ongoing basis.
