About The Position
District 44-14 is looking for ONE self-driven Commercial Insurance Agent with strong experience, writing business across specific industries and strong SIC focus contractors, medical offices, restaurants, retail, and professional services. The best part is there are close to 40 agencies that could be sending you leads. There is split commissions and you can also build your own book of business, hire and build your own team. Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience minimum
- Active P&C General Lines License in Texas (in good standing) Required
- Ability to work independently with minimal training
- Familiarity with small business markets and underwriting nuances (Know your SIC codes)
- Comfortable advising across multiple lines and industry verticals

Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound commercial leads for businesses in targeted industries
- Quote and bind coverage (BOPs, workers comp, commercial auto, Umbrella, etc.)
- Navigate carrier portals and underwriting for both standard and niche markets
- Educating clients and delivering tailored risk management strategies
- Maintain compliance and clear documentation in CRM systems
- Build lasting relationships for retention and referral business
