About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Business Insurance Account Associate. MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions. With 200 offices across North America, MMA combines the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of Marsh. This role requires the ability to commute to the Atlanta, GA office a minimum of three days per week.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• 0-12 months prior experience
• Reliable and punctual
• Developing active listening, verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills
• Developing attention to detail and sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities
• Team player and eager to learn
• Works at the direction and under guidance of the Unit Leader / Unit Manager / Client Team
• Developing basic understanding of prioritization & organizational skills
• No direct carrier interaction but understands the importance of strong carrier relationships
• Basic application of tools & resources
• Basic application in Adobe, Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and proficient in Excel
• Learn and adopt MMA Core Values: Collaboration, Passion, Innovation, Accountability

Responsibilities

• Basic Knowledge of Agency Management System
• Assist with client service deliverables aligned with tasks
• Support account team members on any/all functions as needed
• Assist other Account Associates during high volume times as needed
• Basic knowledge of available tools (Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U)
• Provide New Business, Renewal and General Service Support
• AMS Data Entry: new business support, renewal support, special projects
• Order and File Loss Runs
• Generate Certificate Holder Lists
• Download E-Mods or request from insurance carrier
• Order Flood Zones
• Order ISO Prometrix Reports
• Certificate Issuance
• Evidence of Property Issuance
• Auto ID Card Issuance
