About The Position

The Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, creating, enhancing, and delivering business reporting and analytics that support decision-making across the organization. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Circana/Nielsen syndicated data and plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Working closely with Commercial Excellence, Revenue Growth Management, Trade Marketing, Commercial Planning, and senior leadership teams, this position ensures timely, accurate, and actionable reporting from multiple data sources including Circana/Nielsen, SAP, Data Lake, Blue Planner, Marketing Mix, and other business systems. The analyst will also partner with Global IT and external data providers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across reporting platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or a related field.
  • Experience working with syndicated retail or consumer data sources such as Circana, Nielsen, 84.51°, or Numerator.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional commercial teams including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and E-commerce.
  • Advanced Power BI development, maintenance, and reporting capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of DAX, field parameters, and dashboard design best practices.
  • Experience with data cleansing, validation, and data management processes.
  • Basic SQL querying and data modeling skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with Circana/Nielsen data required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience preferred.
  • Exposure to Databricks, Python, R, advanced analytics tools, or Data Lake architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, update, and distribute monthly and quarterly Circana/Nielsen reports and insights.
  • Review and maintain product hierarchies and item classifications within the Circana/Nielsen database.
  • Analyze syndicated sales data and develop executive-level summaries and business insights.
  • Publish reports and communicate updates to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Drive results by effectively managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and validate existing Power BI dashboards utilizing Data Lake and other data sources.
  • Partner with Global IT to resolve data integration, mapping, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Design, develop, and enhance Power BI dashboards and custom reports to support evolving business needs.
  • Improve reporting capabilities by leveraging existing and new data sources to provide deeper business insights.
  • Identify and resolve data quality and cleansing issues across multiple internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with data owners to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation.
  • Support the organization's "One Source of Truth" initiative by aligning reporting across SAP, Circana/Nielsen, and Data Lake platforms.
  • Validate data transformations and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze complex datasets, identify key business drivers, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams across Commercial Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Trade Marketing, Commercial Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into actionable dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Recommend process improvements and reporting enhancements that drive business value and decision-making.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business priorities and changing reporting requirements while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
