Accelerate - Business Insights Analyst - Post Grad Opportunity June 2027
About The Position
This role is for the ABG Accelerate internship program, designed for individuals graduating in December 2026 or May/June 2027. Participants will explore different areas of the business to foster personal and professional growth, aiming to jump-start a rewarding career. The Business Insights Analyst will engage with business teams to understand challenges, provide thought leadership, and identify opportunities for advanced analytics solutions. The role involves drawing conclusions and making actionable recommendations, helping to leverage and utilize advanced analytics throughout the organization. Responsibilities include designing and developing practical and effective advanced analytics solutions, creating processes and tools to measure solution performance and value, and continuously improving existing analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics or related field
- Internship experience delivering analytical solutions or equivalent combination of education and relevant internship experience in data analytic type roles.
- Experience with database queries (e.g., Oracle, SQLServer) and at least one programming language (e.g. Python or R)
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to think strategically and identify critical success factors when developing solutions
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand, and fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Engage with business teams to understand challenges, provide thought leadership, and identify how advanced analytics solutions could be leveraged
- Draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations based on analysis
- Help better leverage, utilize, and instill advanced analytics solutions throughout the organization
- Design and develop advanced analytics solutions
- Ensure that advanced analytics solutions are practical and effective based on expertise and experience
- Develop processes and tools to measure and monitor solution performance and value achievement
- Continually improve existing analytical based solutions
