About The Position

The Business Information Consultant is responsible for creating and maintaining databases to track business performance, analyzing data and summarizing performance using statistical procedures. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Health, Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).
  • Five (5) years of experience with Query tools and statistical software.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Relational databases.
  • Five (5) years of experience manipulating large sets of data.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Advanced Ad Hoc Analytics.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Payment Dispute Analysis.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Enrollment Dispute Analysis.
  • Five (5) years of experience with 834 RCNI and RCNO advanced analytics & SQL coding.
  • Five (5) years of experience with RCNO monthly processing and manual work exclusions.
  • Five (5) years of experience with 820 APTC SQL coding and logic maintenance.
  • Five (5) years of experience with SQL Automation, Design and Development.
  • Five (5) years of experience with SQL Coding/Programming: daily code updates, enhancements and monthly maintenance.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Payment Dispute Automation: advanced analytics leading to new automations.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Enrollment Dispute Automation: advanced analytics leading to new automations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Health, Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and summarize performance using summary statistical procedures.
  • Develop and analyze business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provide notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
  • Create and publish periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
  • Take business issue and devise best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or track data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.
  • Provide recommendations based upon data analysis.
  • Provide analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.
