About The Position

New Frontier Immigration Law is a mid-sized, fast-growing, mission-driven immigration law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in humanitarian-based immigration and finding innovative solutions for complex cases. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and strategic Business Immigration Attorney to join our team. This role involves leading complex employment-based immigration matters from initial consultation through final filing, with a focus on pioneering pathways for DACA recipients and foreign nationals to secure green cards through career advancement and employment sponsorship. The attorney will also provide critical in-person client representation at local USCIS field offices. This position is ideal for an attorney with a background in high-volume, process-driven immigration environments who excels at strategic case handling, complex visa petitions (including EB-5), and high-touch client advisory.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited US law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing (any US state bar; Arizona bar membership preferred or eligible for local court/field office practice).
  • 3+ years of dedicated experience in Business & Employment-Based Immigration Law.
  • Must be locally based in Arizona (or in the Phoenix area) to conduct in-person client interview coverage at local field offices.
  • Proven track record of handling end-to-end filings for: EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 PERM, and National Interest Waivers (NIW).
  • Experience with non-immigrant worker visas: L-1, TN, H-1B, O-1.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume caseloads efficiently without sacrificing legal quality or missing deadlines.
  • Exceptional legal writing, analytical skills, and empathetic client interaction skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EB-5 Investor Petitions (I-526 / I-829 / I-956F workflows) is a major plus.
  • Prior experience practicing within a high-volume corporate immigration law firm or legal department (e.g., Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL), Fragomen, WR Immigration, or similar national firms).
  • Specific experience or passion for working with DACA recipients transitioning to employment-based permanent residency.
  • Familiarity with modern immigration case management platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal evaluations with prospective and existing clients to build tailored employment-based immigration strategies (NIW, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 PERM, EB-5, etc.).
  • Direct cases from start to finish—including strategy formulation, legal drafting, evidence review, and submission to USCIS and the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Prepare clients for local USCIS interviews and provide strong, in-person legal representation at Arizona field offices.
  • Oversee and review filings across key corporate categories, including NIW, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 (PERM), L-1, TN, and EB-5 investor petitions.
  • Draft persuasive legal briefs, support letters, and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Audit Notices, and NOIDs.
  • Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers to ensure accurate data entry, strict workflow compliance, and timely filings.
  • Stay current on evolving USCIS/DOL policies, precedents, and regulatory changes impacting employment-based and investor petitions.
