This role will focus on working very closely with Material Planning for our Next Generation Operations. Translate planning requirements across part planning, demand/supply alignment, and aircraft scheduling Support implementation of planning tools (DDMRP, PP/DS, and scheduling systems) to ensure alignment with operational needs Understands end-to-end planning processes include forecasting, MRP, inventory planning & replenishment, and how these impact supply continuity and financial outcomes. Identify gaps in planning processes (forecasting, material readiness, schedule adherence) and drive improvements Ensure planning enhancements are clearly defined, tested, and aligned with leadership goals Use planning KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement and measure outcomes. Partner with operations, procurement, and engineering to Identify constraints and improve planning accuracy Understands users pain points to improve usability, adoption, and overall efficiency. Create training documentation and support training sessions prior to rolling out new enhancements. Responsible for supporting Customer Support software solutions enhancements and sustaining activities. A large focus will be supporting new software initiatives while ensuring the integrity of the global template, as well as identifying, scoping and delivering on continuous improvement opportunities. Requires extensive knowledge of lean and project management techniques. Identifies where process improvements can be made, identifies software applicable solutions, creates the business case and works with the business and development team to develop the functional specification.
