As a Business Experience & Planning Specialist - Executive Administration within PNC's Enterprise Technology Administration organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will be on point to ensure that Executive’s Calendar, and scheduling, is maintained in accordance with their preferences. This will include expense management and travel management, along with additional traditional administrative duties for the executive as required. The Business Experience & Planning Specialist needs to have the necessary acumen to be able to understand complex organizational relationships for prioritization of executive calendar and commitments. An intellectually curious individual that enjoys learning and creating positive synergies for Corporate Functions Technology organization activities. This can include large event management such as All hands, and other strategy offsite activities. Executive presence and interface with other executive teams is required, as well as anticipating executive style and continuing to advance calendar and other improvements for organization success is desired. In addition to the administrative duties, this role will have the opportunity to engage in several ad hoc duties that will be at the direction of the Corporate Functions Technology leadership team. Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Expertise in managing complex executive calendars across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong ability to assess urgency, prioritize requests, and align activities with business impact and executive preferences.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale meetings, events, and offsite engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage logistics, agendas, and deliverables with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proven experience supporting business planning, initiative tracking, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and present data into meaningful insights and reports.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the CIO’s calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, stakeholder needs, and executive preferences.
  • Coordinate executive-level logistics including travel, expense management, meeting materials, and follow-ups.
  • Apply strong business acumen to prioritize competing requests and manage relationships across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Plan and execute large-scale events (e.g., all-hands meetings, leadership offsites), including logistics, agendas, communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support the planning, tracking, and execution of line of business initiatives, including data collection, research, and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise executive-level communications, presentations, and status updates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (technology, finance, risk, and shared services) to coordinate and advance key initiatives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to administrative workflows, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Provide proactive recommendations and solutions with minimal direction, anticipating executive and organizational needs.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, confidentiality, and compliance standards in all activities.
  • Maintain a high level of executive presence while interfacing with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Provides support and assistance for implementation and coordination of planning efforts for line of business initiatives.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus and appropriate risk management practices to customers and/or internal partners.
  • Identifies more complex problems and provides advice and resolution in support of line of business initiatives.
  • Partners with other departments or other functional areas in support of line of business initiatives.
  • Independently provides data collection, research and reporting for assigned line of business initiatives.
  • Recommends and delivers best practices and learning plans that meet business objectives.
